Anadol was a Turkish automobile brand established in 1966 by Otosan Otomobil Sanayii, based in Istanbul. The brand was developed in collaboration with Reliant, a British company known for assisting in the establishment of automotive manufacturing in countries lacking a domestic motor industry. Anadol's first model, originally named the Reliant FW5, was a five-seater saloon designed by Ogle and constructed with a fiberglass body. It was powered by a 1198cc Ford Anglia Super engine and featured front disc brakes.

The prototype of the Anadol was driven to Istanbul in December 1965, and the name "Anadol" was chosen through a national competition. The first production vehicle was completed on December 7, 1966. By November 1970, the production reached a milestone of 10,000 units, with annual output peaking at around 5,000 cars, close to the factory's capacity of 6,000. In 1969, the company standardized a Ford 1300cc engine for its models, and in 1974, a 1600cc engine was introduced, along with new body styles including a two-door coupé and a station wagon.

Despite initial success, production began to decline in the early 1980s as more imported vehicles entered the market. By 1982, only 407 Anadol cars were produced. The brand ceased production in 1986 when the Anadol was replaced by the Otosan Ford Taunus 1.6, which utilized the body of the 1982 Ford Cortina and was equipped with a 1.6-litre Ford engine.
