Atvidabergs Vagnfabrik was a Swedish automobile manufacturer founded in 1910 in Åtvidaberg, Sweden. The company produced a unique vehicle that resembled an American high-wheeler, drawing design inspiration from an imported model known as the Holsman. The car was designed by Martin Eriksson and featured a horizontally-opposed 2-cylinder engine, which had the innovative capability of being moved forwards or backwards to engage either forward or reverse gear.
The vehicle achieved a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h) and included advanced features for its time, such as electric lighting that turned with the front wheels, enhancing visibility while navigating. Although a production run of 35 units was initially planned, the company ultimately manufactured no more than 12 Atvidaberg cars before ceasing operations.
