Grex Automotive (Spain) - AllCarIndex

Grex Automotive was a short-lived Spanish venture based in Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands, announced in 2018. It attempted to revive the TVR Sagaris in kit car form under the name Sagaris GT, planned as a limited run of ten kits for 2019. The project presented a fiberglass body styled after the original TVR Sagaris, mounted on a custom chassis, and offered Chevrolet LS V8 engines ranging from the LS3 to the LS9 with outputs quoted between 485 hp and 900 hp.

Technical specifications included independent double-wishbone suspension with Bilstein coilover dampers, ventilated disc brakes (322 mm front, 298 mm rear), and 18-inch alloy wheels with 255/35 R18 tires. The stated kerb weight was 1,078 kg, with performance figures of 0–60 mph in as little as 3.5 seconds and a top speed near 185 mph depending on engine choice. Marketed as “Remastering the Axe,” the Sagaris GT evoked the radical styling of the original TVR, but no evidence suggested that production progressed beyond promotional announcements.
