FUTI – Indústria de Veículos Automóveis, Lda. was a Portuguese company founded in Maceira, Leiria, with the aim of developing vehicles powered by alternative energy. The firm focused on small electric cars for city use, which it marketed under the FUTI name. Its principal model was the Futi F6, offered both as a hatchback and in a rare cabriolet four-seat version. The car reached a top speed of around 80 km/h, had a charging time of about six hours, and was available with different battery packs giving a range between 80 km and 200 km. Prices started at approximately €13,000 excluding VAT. FUTI presented its cars as economical, environmentally friendly, and suitable for urban mobility, and promoted a network of charging points in Portugal. Despite these ambitions, FUTI remained a small-scale project.
