Fiberlite Designs Ltd. was a Canadian kit-vehicle manufacturer best known for the Lance, a tandem-seat three-wheeler developed in the mid-1990s. Founded by Lance Boettcher and established in Strathmore, Alberta before relocating to Calgary, the company specialized in fiberglass bodywork and chassis for the Lance in roadster, coupé and “Elite” forms. The model was designed to accept small-block Chevrolet V8 power with automatic transmission and used a single rear wheel layout, aligning it with contemporary three-wheel specialty vehicles rather than mass-production automobiles. Fiberlite produced bodies and kits rather than turnkey cars and operated on a small scale; period directories listed a 2003 production of roughly twenty vehicles.
