Edran was a Belgian supercar manufacturer founded in 1984 by André Hanjoul. The company initially specialized in producing fiberglass bodies for bespoke sports cars but later advanced to creating its own vehicles. Its first original model, the Spyder Mk I, was unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show in 1994. In 2016 Edran introduced the Enigma, a dramatic mid-engine supercar constructed from advanced composite materials. It featured a wedge-shaped profile, gull-wing doors, and an active aerodynamic system that deployed additional downforce at higher speeds. The Enigma was powered by a V8 engine producing about 820 horsepower, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 2.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 340 km/h. Despite its extreme performance, the car was intended to balance track ability with road usability. Edran operated from Leopoldsburg, Belgium, where its small workshop hand-built each model.
