Dinos (Germany) - AllCarIndex

Dinos Automobilwerke AG was a German automobile manufacturer based in Berlin, operational from 1921 to 1926. The company emerged as a reorganization of Loeb & Compagnie, which had previously produced the LUC car.

During its brief existence, Dinos focused on the production of two medium-sized vehicles. The first model was a 2.1-liter four-cylinder car designated as the 8/35 PS, while the second was a more powerful 4-liter six-cylinder model known as the 16/72 PS. Both vehicles featured single overhead camshaft engines designed by engineer Joseph Vollmer.

In 1922, Dinos Automobilwerke AG became part of the Stinnes concern, a larger industrial group that also manufactured AGA cars. By 1926, the Dinos factory transitioned to support the production of AGA vehicles, marking the end of Dinos as an independent brand.
