Otas Costruzioni Automobilistiche was a small manufacturer based in Turin, Italy, known for producing Fiat-based sports cars in limited numbers.
The company's first model was a variant of the Lombardi Grand Prix, equipped with a linered-down Giannini engine. This was followed by a two-seater coupé designed by Aldo Sessano, based on the front-wheel-drive Autobianchi A112. For this model, the 903cc engine was uprated from 44 to 59bhp, allowing the car to reach a top speed of around 100mph (161km/h).
Priced at 1,400,000 lire, the Otas coupé cost more than Fiat's own 850 Coupé, reflecting its status as a more exclusive alternative built in smaller numbers.
