Fabbrica Italians Macchine srl, commonly known as FIM, was an Italian automobile manufacturer based in Angri, Salerno. The company operated from 1974 until approximately 1980, during which it produced a unique vehicle known as the Chihahua.
The Chihahua was a compact three-wheeled vehicle that featured a fiberglass body, available in both saloon and convertible configurations. Its design was characterized by a whimsical aesthetic, which was reflected in its name. FIM offered the Chihahua with three different engine options: a 50cc Morini engine, a 125cc BCB four-stroke engine, and a 250cc two-stroke engine. The latter variant was capable of reaching a top speed of 50 miles per hour.
Despite its unconventional design and limited production run, FIM's Chihahua represented a distinctive approach to small vehicle manufacturing in Italy during the 1970s.
