Corat was an Italian automobile manufacturer that emerged in the post-World War II era. The brand made its debut at the 1946 Turin Motor Show, where it showcased a small coupe known as the Corat MV2 Lupetta, which translates to "wolfcub" in English.

The MV2 Lupetta featured a narrow rigid rear axle and was powered by a 250cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine, producing 5 horsepower. This model represented the early efforts of the company to establish itself in the automotive market during a time of significant economic recovery and innovation in Italy.

Although Corat's production was limited, the introduction of the MV2 Lupetta marked a notable moment in the history of small Italian car manufacturers in the mid-20th century. The brand's activities, however, did not extend beyond this initial offering, and it eventually faded from the automotive landscape.
