Carletti SpA was an Italian automotive manufacturer known for producing microcars. The company was based in Donato, Biella, and focused on creating compact vehicles that catered to urban mobility needs.

One of the notable models produced by Carletti was the Carletti I’op, a microcar that measured only 117 inches (2970 mm) in length. This vehicle was powered by a front-mounted Lombardini 505 cc diesel engine, which generated 5.4 brake horsepower. The I’op featured a variable automatic transmission and was equipped with front disc brakes, enhancing its performance and safety for city driving.

The construction of the I’op included a steel main structure complemented by plastic body panels, which contributed to its lightweight design. Additionally, the rear section of the two-seat car was designed to fold away, allowing for open-air motoring, which added to its appeal as a practical urban vehicle.
