Burke Engineering Co. Ltd. was an early automobile manufacturer based in Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland. The company operated briefly from 1906 to 1907 and is noted for producing the first car in what would later become the Irish Republic. The vehicle featured a 24/30 horsepower engine that was sourced from France, while the chassis and gearbox were manufactured in-house by Burke.

The Burke automobile was introduced at the inaugural Irish Motor Show in January 1907, showcasing the company's commitment to local production by stating that they only purchased parts that they could not manufacture themselves. The vehicle remained listed in automotive records until 1908. In addition to manufacturing cars, Burke Engineering Co. Ltd. also served as agents for the ASTAHL car, indicating their involvement in the broader automotive market of the time.
