Autopodnik Gatter was a Czech automobile manufacturer founded in 1928 by brothers Vilibald and Rudolf Gatter. The company operated from a small workshop where it specialized in the production of simple cyclecars. The vehicles were initially equipped with 2-stroke, water-cooled engines that produced 9 brake horsepower from a 350cc displacement. These cars featured a 2-speed gearbox and chain-driven rear wheels, supported by two alongside-mounted leaf springs.

The cyclecars had a weight of approximately 290 kilograms and could reach a top speed of 37 miles per hour (60 kilometers per hour). The pricing for these vehicles started at 13,800 Czechoslovak koruna. Gatter also produced a larger model that utilized a 448cc engine, generating 10 brake horsepower, with a total weight of 340 kilograms and a price of 14,800 koruna.

Despite the innovative designs, the company faced challenges and only managed to produce around 40 cars before it ceased automobile production in 1934, transitioning to a repair shop. The brief existence of Autopodnik Gatter marked a small chapter in the history of Czech automotive manufacturing.
