Georges Ville was a French automotive designer active in the early 20th century, primarily between 1904 and around 1909. He operated under the name Sté d'Industrie Mécanique, based in Paris. Unlike many contemporaries, Ville focused on the design aspect of automobiles rather than manufacturing them himself. He sourced many of the components for his vehicles from other firms, with Morane being a notable supplier.

The cars designed by Georges Ville were primarily intended for urban use, featuring innovative designs that catered to the needs of city dwellers. Some models included frames that were dropped at the rear, allowing for low-entrance brougham bodies, which facilitated easier access for passengers. The 1904 models were equipped with 4-cylinder engines that produced either 15 or 30 horsepower. These engines were noted for their flexibility, enabling the vehicles to operate effectively with only two forward speeds. A separate epicyclic gear was utilized to provide reverse functionality.

In addition to his work with his own brand, Georges Ville also contributed to the design of the Crosville cars in England, further showcasing his influence in the automotive industry during this period.
