Gaillardet had previously designed a 5-horsepower three-wheeler in 1899 before transitioning to the production of automobiles.

The Doctoresse brand produced two main models, featuring 6 and 12 horsepower engines. Both models were equipped with front-mounted, two-cylinder engines and utilized a chain drive system. The design and engineering of these vehicles were overseen by Gaillardet, who played a significant role in the early development of the brand.
