Cicostar

Cicostar was a French microcar manufacturer that operated from 1980 to 1984. The company, officially known as C.l.C.O. SA, was based in Limoges, Haute-Vienne, France.

Cicostar produced a distinctive monobox microcar characterized by its rounded design and rear-mounted engine. The vehicle was available in two primary configurations: a 47cc model equipped with a Sachs three-wheeler engine and a 49.9cc version featuring a Motobecane four-wheeler engine. Both variants included automatic transmission and independent front suspension, catering to the needs of urban drivers seeking compact and efficient transportation.

In late 1980, Cicostar expanded its lineup with the introduction of the Matic, a larger and more angular four-wheeler available in 50cc and 125cc engine options. This model aimed to provide additional versatility and performance for consumers looking for a microcar solution. Despite its brief production run, Cicostar contributed to the microcar segment during its operational years.
