Chaboche was a French automobile manufacturer based in Paris, active from 1901 to 1906. Founded by E. Chaboche, the company specialized in steam-powered vehicles and became notable as France's second most significant maker of steam cars, following Serpollet.

During its brief production run, Chaboche introduced a variety of models. The initial offerings included a four-seater runabout featuring a rear-mounted boiler and a six-horsepower horizontal engine located centrally within the chassis. Additionally, the company produced a six-seater brake equipped with a twelve-horsepower engine and a front-mounted boiler, resembling a steam lorry. By 1903, Chaboche expanded its lineup to include passenger cars with engines rated at either twelve or twenty horsepower, still maintaining a central engine layout and utilizing flash boilers positioned at the rear. The final drive system employed chain mechanisms, and body styles varied, including coupe de ville and limousine configurations.

In 1905, Chaboche's models adopted a more conventional design, featuring a thirty-horsepower vertical engine mounted at the front under a bonnet. However, in 1906, the company ceased production of passenger vehicles to focus exclusively on commercial vehicles, which continued to be manufactured until approximately 1910. Despite its short existence, Chaboche contributed to the early development of steam-powered automobiles in France.
