Cadix was a French automobile manufacturer that operated from 1920 to 1923. Founded by Jean Janncl, the company was based in the Vosges district, an area not typically associated with automobile production.
The Cadix vehicles were conventionally assembled and utilized 4-cylinder Ballot engines, which were available in two displacements: 1590 cc and 2292 cc. The company offered two body styles for its cars, both of which were open configurations, accommodating either two or four passengers.
Despite the production of these vehicles, Cadix struggled to attract a sufficient customer base, as regional manufacturers often depended on local sales. The limited market in the Vosges ultimately led to the closure of Jean Janncl's business after just four years of operation.
