Boschetti Bugantic was a French automotive brand founded by Michel Boschetti in Gorbio, a town located near the Italian border. The brand specialized in producing replicas of classic Bugatti models, notably the 1927 Bugatti Type 35B. These replicas were offered in both kit form and fully assembled, catering to enthusiasts of vintage automobiles.

The mechanical foundation of the Bugantic was based on the Volkswagen Beetle, utilizing its rear-mounted engine. The bodywork of the vehicles was constructed from fiberglass, which provided a lightweight and durable exterior. In 1988, the brand expanded its offerings by introducing a replica of the Bugatti Type 55, which could be powered by either Ford or Opel engines.

As interest in Bugatti replicas diminished over time, the Bugatti project was transferred to Philippe Calderon in 1997. Following this transition, Michel Boschetti shifted his focus to the production of a replica of the Porsche 550 Spyder, named the Salinas, in homage to the town where actor James Dean tragically lost his life while driving a 550 Spyder.
