Bertrand ct Cie was a French automobile manufacturer based in Paris, active from 1901 to 1902. The company specialized in producing light cars, which were offered in two distinct sizes. These vehicles were equipped with either a 4-horsepower De Dion-Bouton engine or a 6-horsepower Aster engine. Bertrand provided options for both 2-seater and 4-seater body configurations, and the final drive system utilized a single-chain mechanism.
Despite its brief existence, Bertrand cars gained recognition for their performance. Notably, one of their vehicles participated in the 1901 Moscow-St Petersburg Trial, where it achieved success by winning its class. The company produced a limited number of vehicles during its operational years, and today, one surviving example of a Bertrand car is preserved in France.
