Beaudet was a French automobile manufacturer active from 1993 to 1997, founded by electrical engineer Franck Beaudet in Saint-André-de-Cubzac, France. The company focused on producing unique vehicles that combined traditional design elements with modern engineering.
The flagship model of the brand was the Beaudet 1, which was a convertible that drew inspiration from 1930s automotive aesthetics. It featured a specially designed chassis and was powered by a 2.0-litre engine sourced from Peugeot, complemented by running gear from Opel Ascona. This combination aimed to deliver a blend of classic styling and contemporary performance.
Despite its innovative approach, Beaudet's production run was relatively short-lived, ceasing operations in 1997. The brand remains a niche example of small-scale automotive manufacturing in France during the 1990s.
