A. Bailleau was a French automobile manufacturer based in Longjumeau, Seine-et-Oise, that operated from 1901 until approximately 1914. The company gained attention with the launch of its voiturette at the Paris Salon in December 1901. This light two-seater vehicle was powered by a 23-horsepower single-cylinder De Dion-Bouton engine, which was notably mounted under the seat. The base price for the voiturette was £96, with an additional £8 for full water-cooling.

The design of the Bailleau voiturette featured a tubular frame, wheel steering, and a unique dummy bonnet that functioned as a tool chest. M. Bailleau specialized in converting quadricycles into voiturettes, which led to a significant demand for his conversions, prompting the need for an expansion of his workshop facilities. By 1904, the company had upgraded its offerings to include front-mounted engines with outputs of 6 or 9 horsepower, still utilizing De Dion engines and shaft drive systems.

In 1906, Bailleau introduced a 16-horsepower four-cylinder model, and by 1911, the product range included a 6-horsepower single-cylinder, a 6-horsepower twin-cylinder, and a 10/12-horsepower four-cylinder vehicle. However, production of Bailleau automobiles appears to have declined shortly thereafter, with operations likely ceasing around the onset of World War I in 1914.
