Automotette was a French automobile manufacturer active from 1898 to 1899, operating under the name Compagnie Francaises des Cycles Automobiles, based in Paris. The company specialized in producing three-wheeled voiturettes, which were compact vehicles designed for two passengers.
The Automotette featured a single-cylinder engine, specifically a 3'/Jip model, which powered the rear wheel through a belt drive system. Its design bore similarities to the Lion Bolide, a contemporary vehicle. Although primarily a French product, the Automotette was marketed in England by the Automobile Association Ltd of Holland Park, London, which classified it as a British car. In addition to the two-seater version, the company also offered a four-seater model, although this variant was reportedly not sold in the English market.
