Auto Vapeur was a French automobile manufacturer active between 1905 and 1906, based in Paris. The company emerged during a period when several manufacturers attempted to capitalize on the steam car market, which was dominated by the more established Serpollet brand. Despite the competitive landscape, Auto Vapeur struggled to achieve significant market presence and ultimately had a brief existence.

The vehicles produced by Auto Vapeur featured a multi-tube boiler and a four-cylinder horizontally-opposed engine, which was centrally mounted within the vehicle's frame. The final drive system utilized a shaft, a design choice that reflected the engineering practices of the time. Other manufacturers producing similar steam-powered vehicles during this era included Fidelia and Weyher et Richmond.

Due to the rapid decline of steam car popularity and the rise of internal combustion engines, Auto Vapeur ceased operations shortly after its inception, leaving behind a limited legacy in the automotive industry.
