Ascot was a French automobile brand that operated briefly during the early 20th century, specifically from 1914 to 1915. The company was based in Levallois-Perret, Seine, and was associated with the Ste Buchet company, which was responsible for manufacturing the chassis and the engine components.
The vehicles produced under the Ascot name featured a 1 Ohp side-valve four-cylinder engine, which was paired with a unit gearbox. After the completion of the chassis and engine assembly by Buchet, the vehicles were sold to the Hollingdrake Automobile Company located in Srockporr. This company then fitted their own bodies onto the chassis, primarily producing two-seater and coupé models, which were marketed under the Ascot brand.
Despite its short-lived production period, Ascot contributed to the early automotive landscape in France, showcasing the collaboration between different manufacturers in the burgeoning automobile industry of the time.
