André-Py was a French automobile manufacturer established in 1899 under the name Cie des Automobiles du Sud Ouest. The company is noted for producing a distinctive three-wheeled voiturette that bore a superficial resemblance to the vehicles designed by Léon Bollée.
The André-Py voiturette featured tandem seating and was powered by a 3.5 horsepower horizontal single-cylinder engine. A notable innovation of this vehicle was its front-wheel drive system combined with rear-wheel steering, which set it apart from many contemporaneous designs.
Despite its unique engineering, André-Py did not achieve significant commercial success and remains a lesser-known name in the history of early automotive development.
