Autofabriken D.K.R. AS was a Danish automobile manufacturer based in Roskilde, active from 1953 to 1954. The company was founded by engineer S.A. Maihiesen, who had previously worked with the Danish automobile industry, along with two partners, Gabrielsen and Ahlmann-Ohlsen. Their goal was to produce a plastic-bodied car in Denmark, a project that initially received support from the Danish government.

The design of the car featured a four-door saloon body mounted on an aluminum frame, aiming to combine American standards of spaciousness with the lightweight characteristics typical of European vehicles. Although the original plans included a three-cylinder engine, the final model was equipped with an 1100cc Heinkel flat-four engine, which produced 45 brake horsepower. This engine was paired with a ZF four-speed gearbox, and the vehicle was designed to drive the front wheels.

The company had ambitious production goals, planning to manufacture as many as 400 cars per month, with each vehicle priced at 15,000 kronor. However, the project faced significant challenges when the Danish government withdrew its financial support, ultimately leading to the cessation of operations and the discontinuation of the car production.
