VAD was a prototype of a people's car, built in 1925 in Hradec Králové by Vojmír Věchet. Before the First World War Věchet had produced passenger cars in his factory in Nymburk. After that production ended, he ran a car repair business in Hradec Králové from 1924. The VAD had a single-cylinder, four-valve engine of 500 cm³.
