QYEV

QYEV was a Chinese electric-vehicle marque of Tianjin Qingyuan Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tianjin and established in 2001. It was among the earlier specialist EV makers in China, focusing on electric vehicles and key components rather than conventional internal-combustion automobiles. The marque’s early development included experimental passenger cars created with Tianjin University, and by the 2010s it had broadened into utility and special-purpose electric vehicles while also pursuing autonomous-driving technology.

Its documented range included small passenger cars such as the Xiaozun, concept vehicles such as the Zun, and a wider lineup of electric vans, sanitation vehicles, patrol vehicles, and delivery vehicles. QYEV’s significance lay less in large-scale retail passenger-car production than in its long-running role as an early Chinese EV developer spanning research prototypes, light commercial vehicles, and self-driving concepts.
