Alongside its low-speed portfolio, Aoxin was also associated with the Ibis, a full-size battery-electric sedan shown publicly in the mid-2010s. Press coverage described the Aoxin Ibis as debuting on the Chinese “new energy” show circuit (including Shanghai) and being positioned with luxury-sedan aspirations, including conspicuous Tesla-like branding cues.
