Canadian Motors Ltd was an automobile manufacturer based in Galt, Ontario, that operated from 1911 to 1913. The company aimed to produce a medium-priced car that included various features such as lamps, a hood, a speedometer, and a comprehensive tool kit as part of the purchase price. Initially, before establishing their own production capabilities, Canadian Motors imported vehicles from the Alpena Motor Company of Alpena, Michigan. The Alpena Model C was marketed as the Canada Tourist, while the Model D was sold as the Canada Roadster. These models were available in both left-hand drive and right-hand drive configurations and came with a lifetime guarantee.

By the spring of 1911, Canadian Motors began assembling cars in Galt, continuing to utilize the Alpena designs and Hazard engines. The bodies of the vehicles were constructed by the Guelph Carriage Company. In 1912, the company introduced an electric starter for their vehicles, following the example set by Cadillac, making it the first Canadian car to feature such a system. However, the electric starter proved to be unreliable, which negatively impacted the company's reputation. The Model E Special, which included the electric starter, was priced at CDN$2,350, making it relatively expensive for the time.

In 1913, Canadian Motors launched the Model G, which was the largest offering from the company, equipped with a 40/45 horsepower engine and priced at CDN$2,750. Despite these efforts, the company faced challenges and ultimately decided to close the factory before the end of 1913. Throughout its brief existence, Canadian Motors sold no more than 50 vehicles.
