Chimo was a Canadian automobile brand that operated from 1980 to approximately 1988. The company was initially established as Customotive Inc. in St. Laurent, Quebec, before relocating to Ottawa, Ontario, in 1985. In the same year, the brand transitioned to Image Inc., based in Smiths Falls, Ontario.
Chimo was notable for producing a uniquely styled coupe, which was distinguished as the only fiberglass car manufactured in Canada during its time. The vehicle was built on a Volkswagen Beetle floorpan and offered power options that included a Ford V6 engine or a Mazda rotary engine. Its design featured angular fastback bodywork, which incorporated a windscreen sourced from the Chevrolet Chevette.
