Brooks Steam Motors Ltd was a Canadian automobile manufacturer based in Stratford, Ontario, that operated from 1923 to 1929. The company specialized in steam-powered vehicles and became known for producing the Brooks Steam Car, which was recognized as the second most popular steam car in America during the 1920s. Throughout its production run, Brooks Steam Motors Ltd manufactured approximately 180 units, with the majority being fabric-covered four-door sedans.

The Brooks Steam Car featured a two-cylinder engine that was similar to that of the more widely known Stanley steam cars. The company was founded by Oland J. Brooks, an American entrepreneur who also established two taxicab companies in Stratford and Toronto, both of which exclusively utilized Brooks Steamers for their operations. Initially priced at CDN$3,885, the cost of the Brooks Steam Car was reduced to CDN$2,885 in 1927, the same year the company entered receivership. By 1929, the remaining inventory of Brooks cars was auctioned off, with prices ranging from CDN$150 to CDN$400.
