Troller

Troller was a Brazilian off-road vehicle manufacturer founded in Ceará by Rogério Farias in 1995 and later established in Horizonte. The company began with the RF Sport and became best known for the T4, a compact fiberglass-bodied 4x4 built on a steel chassis. In 1997, control of the business passed to Mário Araripe, and in 2007 Troller was acquired by Ford do Brasil. Over time the T4 evolved from Volkswagen petrol power to MWM diesel engines and, in its final generation, to Ford Ranger-based mechanicals.

Troller also produced the Pantanal pickup, introduced in 2006 as a longer-wheelbase derivative of the T4. The model had a short production life, and the T4 remained the marque’s defining vehicle until the end of the brand in 2021. Troller was also linked to special off-road and competition applications, including rally use and purpose-built utility versions.
