Mathomobile Replicars was a manufacturer based in Brussels, Belgium, founded by engineer Claude Mathot. The company produced a replica of the Bugatti Type 35, built on a shortened Volkswagen Beetle platform.
Buyers could specify air-cooled engines sourced from Volkswagen or Porsche, or opt for an electric alternative in the form of a Kaylor motor rated at 22 kW. The electric version was capable of a range of around 100 miles and a top speed of up to 77 mph (124 km/h).
The majority of Mathomobile's production was exported to the United States.
