Automobiles Catala was a Belgian automobile manufacturer active between 1913 and 1914, founded by Etienne Catala in Braine-le-Comte. Prior to establishing his own car company, Catala was involved in selling Model T Fords. He chose an anagram of his surname, "Alatac," as the brand name for his vehicles.

The cars produced by Automobiles Catala were assembled machines that utilized Chapuis-Dornier engines. These engines were available in two sizes: a 1526cc 9/12hp and a 2296cc 12/16hp, both featuring 4-cylinder monobloc side-valve configurations. The vehicles were equipped with 4-speed gearboxes, enhancing their performance.

The chassis for the cars were sourced from Malicet et Blin, while the bodies, which included 2-seaters, tourers, and saloons, were constructed locally. Notably, the cars featured an attractive vee-shaped radiator design, contributing to their distinctive appearance.
