The Taylor was a three-wheeled vehicle built in Wollongong, Australia, by F.A. Taylor, a tradesman who worked as a cycle maker. Taylor imported many of the vehicle's components from England but designed and constructed the body himself. The vehicle was completed in 1906. It used a system of belts and chains for its drive mechanism and was reported to be capable of reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h.
