Humber and Hillman

Humber and Hillman vehicles were produced in Australia through Rootes (Australia) Ltd, based in Port Melbourne, Victoria, with production later continuing under Chrysler Australia Ltd at the same location following Chrysler's takeover of Rootes. Assembly operations began in 1946, based in a former wartime aircraft plant, with plans in place for increasing local content over time.
