Federal

Federal was an automobile marketed by Bradley Bros Ltd of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was a rebadged version of an unidentified American vehicle, and its name may have been chosen in reference to the establishment of Canberra as the federal capital of Australia at that time.

The car was of conventional design for its era, powered by a six-cylinder Elmore engine producing 23 horsepower, and was built on a wheelbase of 117 inches (2,972 mm). It came fitted with wire wheels.

In 1924, a more expensive variant known as the Special 6 was introduced, featuring a 25 horsepower Continental engine mounted in a longer chassis of 118 inches (2,997 mm). This model incorporated Liberty Bosch ignition, a Zenith carburettor, a Fuller clutch and Columbia axles. Despite this expanded lineup, the Federal disappeared from sales listings before the end of 1924.
