Elfin Sports Cars was an Australian manufacturer of sports cars, founded by Garrie Cooper in 1957. The company initially operated out of Edwardstown, South Australia, before relocating to Highett, Victoria. Cooper began his career in automotive design by creating his own special vehicles, which laid the groundwork for the establishment of Elfin.

The first significant production from Elfin came in 1959, when the company produced a batch of sports racing cars named after a model aero engine, totaling 24 units. In 1961, Elfin introduced the Clubman, a model that remained in production for an extended period in both road and track variants. The company adapted its designs to comply with various competition regulations, which allowed it to cater to a wide range of motorsport categories.

Garrie Cooper's driving career was cut short in 1971 due to a heart condition, but his legacy as a car builder was solidified by 1976, when Elfin was recognized as the world's second-largest constructor of competition cars, having built over 300 vehicles. Cooper passed away in 1982, which marked a significant turning point for the company. Despite his death, Elfin continued to operate under new management in Victoria starting in 1994, maintaining its reputation in the sports car market.
