D.R.B. Enterprises was an Australian automotive manufacturer based in Southport, Queensland. Founded by Denis Bedford, the company initially focused on building one-off cars before expanding its offerings. In 1973, D.R.B. introduced the Sabre coupe, which was notable for being available as a fibreglass bodykit designed to fit the Volkswagen platform.
By 1981, the Sabre was sold as a complete car, and in 1983, a convertible version was added to the lineup. The company later developed the Magnum and Sabre Mk 2 models, although these programs were eventually sold off. In 1986, D.R.B. launched the Taipan, a mid-engined coupe powered by a Nissan 1500cc engine, which was also offered as a complete vehicle.
In addition to its original models, D.R.B. Enterprises became known for producing replicas of classic cars, including the Cobra and GT40. The company contributed to the niche market of specialty vehicles in Australia during its operational years.
