Adayer

Adayer was an Australian automotive brand that operated between 1981 and 1985, under the ownership of Dominion & International Automobiles Pty Ltd, based in Braeside, Victoria. The brand initially aimed to produce a vehicle named "Phantom," which was to feature a classical-styled grille. However, this plan was thwarted by a court order from Rolls-Royce, which led to a change in direction for the brand.

The vehicles produced by Adayer were built on the chassis of a 1-tonne commercial vehicle, utilizing components from Holden, a prominent Australian car manufacturer. Despite the ambitious plans, only five units of the original model were manufactured. In 1985, Adayer introduced the Spordf, a modified version of the Holden Commodore, which featured a two-door coupe body style. A total of 11 units of the Spordf were produced before the brand ceased operations.
