Acme was an Australian automobile manufacturer that originated in 1906, initially established as Acme Motor Works in Lavender Bay, New South Wales. The company began its operations as marine engineers before transitioning into the automotive sector. In 1916, the business was sold to V.A. Holding, and by 1920, it was solely owned by F.R. Overall, who was based in Sydney.

The Acme automobile, erroneously referred to as the 1904 Ace in earlier records, was a two-seater vehicle powered by a 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 10/12 horsepower. Notably, the car's magneto and carburetor were the only components imported, indicating a focus on local manufacturing.

Despite its early promise, the Acme car did not achieve lasting success, and there are no further records of the vehicle's production or sales after its initial introduction.
