Automotores Argentinos, commonly known as Autoar, was an Argentine automotive manufacturer based in Buenos Aires. The company commenced production in 1950, focusing primarily on utility vehicles equipped with 2199cc Jeep engines and transmissions. In 1951, Autoar expanded its lineup by introducing a 2-door saloon that utilized the same mechanical components as its utility vehicles.

Piero Dusio, known for his work with the renowned CISITALIA cars, was one of the key sponsors of Autoar. Throughout the latter half of the 1950s, the company shifted its offerings, discontinuing the saloon model and concentrating on producing station-wagon and pickup variants. The station wagon was available with two engine options: the Jeep engine or a Fiat 1900cc engine.

From 1960 onwards, Autoar began manufacturing NSU Prinz cars under license, further diversifying its product range. However, production of Autoar vehicles ceased in 1961, with a total of 204 units produced that year. The NSU production continued until 1962, culminating in a total of 2228 units manufactured.
