what was the last time that you've heard about a brand new super high performance hypercar from an unknown start-up company? here's one for you!
a small business named zava hypercars is preparing a very radical looking automobile named prometheus. since this new italian company from padova has released only few very blurred images we suppose that the design is very much radical. teaser photos say that the cockpit will be pushed towards front axle while the rear part will probably get a large wing to do all that downforce thing. front view suggests a possible tandem seating. original idea? nope. practical? nope twice.
promised specifications are of course out this world, definitely, but we'll see. zava hypercars claims that their 'titan' will be equipped by 4 electric motors with a total output of 1000kw (1341 hp). yup, that's exactly the same number as for the koenigsegg one:1, but that one is a hybrid machine, remember? anyway, zava positions itself above the swedish ride.
how about 1600nm of torque? sounds insane? it does, yes! top speed - good 350 km/h and acceleration from a standstill to hundred will be.. hold your breath... 2 seconds! gimme me keys, huh!
finally, zava hypercars says that the prometheus model will be able to run a distance of even 500 electric kilometers with no pollution of our environment. sweet! but wait a second.. at what cruising speed that is possible?..
that's pretty much it all info, as all this project so far looks very much mysterious, but there's one little thing that we have managed to find. it is very probable that the zava prometheus is a new incarnation of the stillborn supercar project of a german company rotary super cars which appeared in 2010, showed a couple fancy teaser images and faded out very quickly. we hope that the prometheus will become a real thing and won't stay a yet another one pipe-dream. if it really does, it would be the most powerful italian car ever made - lots more powerful than currently is the mazzanti evantra millecavalli. who knows.. good luck, zava hypercars!
