FrangiVento Asfane HyperSportItalia - all-electric Italian supercar will debut at Bologna

Nov 25, 2016

A new company making extraordinary supercar - FrangiVento - debuted this June at the Parco Valentino open-air show. Their much sophisticated concept was designed in Monte Carlo and made in Italy since the company is located in Turin.

This small atelier is run by Giorgio Pirolo and Paolo Mancini. They named the first model Asfane which is derived from “as-fa-nen” - “it can’t be done” in piedmonts' dialect. Interesting choice for a name! Here's what company says about it:

"If we kept going on, with our head down and prohibitions imposed by a lack of trust we could not go much further. Yet fortunately there is still someone looking towards future, ready to pick up new challenges that will revolution our conception of being, by narrowing the border between imagination and reality, present and future."

Imagined as an ultra modern futuristic superhero's car the Asfane aims to blend past and present as well as to pay homage to Italian centenary design traditions.

Show at Parco Valentino, was a non-running prototype, but the company says the car will get a supercharged V10 850hp engine coupled with a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and all wheel drive. Asfane should be capable to reach 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and develop a top speed over 300 km/h.

The FrangiVento company claims they will build only 9 examples of their supercar each year and the starting base price is a staggering 1.800.00 euro!

The company does not stop here and they plan to introduce an all-electric version - Asfane HyperSportItalia at the upcoming Bologna Motor Show on the 3rd of December. We will bring more on this soon!
