At Automobile Barcelona 2025, Baltasar revealed the REVOLT R Concept — a track-only version of its electric sports car, the REVOLT. It's more stripped down, more focused, and not road legal.
Compared to the original REVOLT, which is still going through homologation ahead of a 2026 launch, the R version is designed only for the racetrack. It’s a single-seater with a full carbon body, large aero elements including a DRS-equipped rear wing, and slick tires on magnesium wheels. The cockpit is basic: carbon racing seat, removable steering wheel, and no interior trim.
The car weighs just 800 kg, which is extremely light for an EV. The suspension is a double wishbone setup with carbon, Kevlar, and aerospace-grade aluminum pushrods. Like the standard REVOLT, it’s built around a chromoly steel safety cage.
It runs on a custom high-performance battery developed with MILLOR BATTERY, which can charge to 80% in about 5 minutes using DC fast charging, thanks to Baltasar’s partnership with Enchufing.
Both the REVOLT and REVOLT R are developed and built in Spain. Production will be low-volume and made to order. There’s no launch date or production target yet for the R version, but the price is expected to be around €450,000.
Baltasar also released teaser images of the pedal box and a short video showing two REVOLT prototypes during testing. The full details of the R Concept are now public following the debut at the show.
This isn’t a street car, and it’s not trying to be one. It’s aimed at buyers who want a lightweight electric car for track days or private testing — and who don’t mind that there’s only one seat.
