Ermini 686 is confirmed for Geneva debut - AllCarIndex
it was approximately one year ago that the revived ermini automobili italia announced development of the 686 (seiottosei) – a successor of the long gone italian sportscar and racing car manufacturer. today, the company made an important step further since they announced that the world premiere of the superlightweight car will take place at the geneva motor show (starting 6th of march, 2014).
the seiottosei will be a track-oriented sportscar powered by a 2-liter renault engine. its carbon fiber bodywork and other lightweight materials used will guarantee the total weight of just 686 kg. the new ermini supposedly will be capable to achieve a top speed of 270 km/h and to hit 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
