John Weitz was a famous fashion designer and amateur racing driver. His intention behind the X-600 project was to demonstrate a talent for mechanical objects. The bodywork of his car was built in the UK by Mallalieu Cars. A limited-edition production was planned with a starting price of 60.000 USD, however, it remained a one-of-a-kind car.
