The Izzer was an automobile built by the Model Gas Engine Co. of Peru, Indiana. Its unusual name originated from a customer, Dr. H.H. Bissell of Watseka, Illinois, who ordered the first car and requested that it be a modern, up-to-date vehicle, an "is-er" rather than a "was-er." The car was built to order by E.A.
